Grammy® award-winning bassist Malcolm Gold has a deep love of music that shines through in all the music he helps create. From Rock to Pop, R&B to Jazz, Classical to Reggae.

He is known for his ability to move with ease from the acoustic bass to the electric bass, and has demonstrated his versitility as a vocalist, song-writer and producer. The goal is always to embrace the creative element and make great music.

Malcolm has had the pleasure of working with many fine artists, including India.Arie, Sheryl Crow, Morgan Heritage (2015 Grammy win), Shaggy, Rob Thomas, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The Waterboys, The Weepies, G.E. Smith, Dan Zanes, Simon Kirke, Jim Weider, Peter Cincotti and Days of the New, as well as some of the best session and touring musicians in the world.

He has performed extensively in venues across all of North America, Europe, Africa and Jamaica.

His work on Broadway gained him a spot as Musical Director and bassist for the first national touring company of “Movin’ Out”, the Billy Joel/Twyla Tharp collaboration. He is now part of “The Lords of 52nd Street,” playing alongside Liberty DeVitto, Richie Cannata and Russell Javors, members of the original Billy Joel band.

“Music endures and inspires,” Malcolm says, “because it is a true reminder that humans can make magic or miracles anywhere. At any time.”
