ABOUT MALCOLM

Grammy® award-winning bassist Malcolm Gold has a deep love of music that shines in all the music he helps create. He is known for his ability to move between genres with ease, on either the double bass or electric bass. Demonstrating his versatility as a performer, a vocalist, songwriter and producer, his goal is always to embrace the creative element and make great music.

Malcolm has had the pleasure of working with many fine artists, including India.Arie, Sheryl Crow, Morgan Heritage (2015 Grammy win), Rob Thomas, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The Waterboys, The Weepies, The Lords of 52nd Street, G.E. Smith, Dan Zanes, Simon Kirke, Jon Pousette-Dart, Jim Weider, Peter Cincotti, Days of the New, as well as some of the best session and touring musicians in the world. Touring extensively in venues all across North America, Africa, Europe and The Caribbean.

On Broadway, he has worked on Beetlejuice, Aida and Movin’ Out, as well as Bedbugs!, off Broadway.
